Our first day was a wander round the town of Girne where we changed our £££'s for Turkish Lira. We looked in a few shops and had a drink and lunch at a cafe overlooking the sea.
I love the Turkish lights but better to buy on the mainland as price goes up a lot on imported goods
Joyce also went to a shop to see if her toaster had been fixed - heating element anyone?
Charlie Chaplain
Splodge Patches Dotty? Suggestions welcome
The next day we went into the capital... sadolyn anyone?
We had a quick look in here - a cathedral that is now a mosque. Fascinating architecture and all welcome to pray in here
