Sun ☀️ to snow ❄️

Our last parkwalk. The guy with the clipboard did the countdown and off we plodded like the wooden tortoise at his feet.

To make up for the unnecessary early morning exertion we managed to fit in a visit to Quayside Cabin. First time in daylight

It's in the new harbour. It really is a cabin or a storage container that has been extended

A lovely sky on the day we flew back
IMG_2010.JPG

There was some inexplicable traffic queueing on Sir Lowry's pass meaning we got to the security queue at the airport with 20 minutes to boarding. Thankfully one of the staff got us through security and passport control with another passenger in a wheelchair. Apparently it was a combination of 6 flights leaving at the same time and not enough airport staff

Already planning the next one...

The sun is shining in kent today so we are walking into maidstone along the river. Best way to avoid the traffic. However right now I am being sat upon by Foggy who has decided my lap is the best location to have a wash.
Here are a few snaps from our last few days in SA
One hot day we went out for a ride to nowhere

A long way to nowhere

We got to Grahamstown where we had lunch .sadly the pizza oven was not hot enough so we went for other options

We came a different route back stopping off at Klipdale where the old railway station is now a home
