Here are a few snaps from our last few days in SA
One hot day we went out for a ride to nowhere
A long way to nowhere
We got to Grahamstown where we had lunch .sadly the pizza oven was not hot enough so we went for other options
We made friends with Tomas
Who let you know when it was time for a tidbit
The view through the garden centre up towards the mountain
And even here with 30+* you can find an aga
We finished off with some rather marvellous carrot cake
We were surprised to see this plant here. A friend of Woody's gave it to us from their plant and we have also seen it at Nymans
We came a different route back stopping off at Klipdale where the old railway station is now a home
How to drink water with a helmet on
And a stop at this shop on the way back to buy locally decorated fair trade candles
Dinner round at Carols at no 1 Berg n See . A beautifully done table with enchiladas. She serves the cheese course before the dessert. People can be enjoying it whilst you finish the dessert... good idea
A walk on the cliff path found another furry friend
Like father like son
Amazing dramatic skies
And clouds
Lunch at the de Boers by the pool with their bougainvillea
All gone!
Followed by a willow walk. Ever so obedient that one.
A view of the three reservoirs...used to be Hermanus water supply and still does the golf course we think
Willow woof
Birds on the water feeder
And as ever an incredible light on the mountains
Only one more to go and time to evict the cat xxx
