Splodge has been exploring and finding new places to hide.... this is what a lap tray is for right?
Spot Splodge...
We went to a Christmas market at Hunton where the Church is full of this red marble
A tomb with a tree
One of the many items on sale... I got some beautiful Belarussian baubles for our tree which are sold in aid of children affected by Chernobyl
Then there was East Farleigh carol service and the turning on of the lights...
Foggy's tree
Splodge has been very naughty and had a brief spell in prison
And I discovered there are more types of gin than you can shake a stick at...
We had a fabulous Christmas dinner
And a visitation from a very nervous neighbour...
And human visitors...
And more human visitors...
Who went up to London to (not) visit the queen but instead had lunch in St Martin's in the Field crypt
Table neighbours
Nicely carved wooden post
For not nice things!
The 'gallery' is memorial tablets but do not fear for this one as she's not been buried alive...
Upstairs above ground....
And outside in Trafalgar Square. The latest offering on the empty pedestal is a giant thumbs up(apparently)
In the bar...
...Of the Duchess Theatre. This was a belated birthday treat for mum and Sally to see The Play That Goes Wrong. They haven't got it sorted yet....
Covent Garden...
Sally's scarf is under there somewhere...
We smoked some cheese yum yum
And in Rudyard Kipling style: how the Splodge got her name....
We are off to South Africa on 26th so looking forward to seeing friends and family there. More sunny photos anon
Love W&B xxx
