Strange Creatures

So to return to South Africa... We are currently in Dorset for a brief stay to see my parents as we missed them in Dorset due to health issues. So I have a bit of free time as I am not at work. It has been unceasingly busy recently due to the run up of a big CQC Inspection followed by the 2 day  event where 9 inspectors were going through the whole hospital.
So sunny memories from our stay in South Africa in Nov/Dec
We walked along the cliff path to the town passing the rock pool 

Seeing a lady with an invisible swimming costume


We had a go at paddling ourselves


And Martin avoided the waves


Somehow


We got along the coast to Bientangs Cave where we had our favourite cocktail.. The mojito



In the Gibson-Woodward clan you cannot have 2 persons smiling simultaneously. It's an actual rule.


We found more dassies


They are very used to people and we passed quite close. Must taste rubbish as we never see them on the menu.

This is the old harbour where we had another paddle and Pippa & Martin found an abalone shell


And then it was time for another cocktail...
We had some dinner and walked back


The sun always changes on the mountain


And being ignorant foreigners we broke the law and have the picture to prove it.
