This is the local market
Packed full of lovely things...
We bought dates, Turkish delight, kofte spice, sumac as well as fresh things for the salad and moussaka supper...
We dropped of the shopping at home and drove up into the mountains for brekkie....
A quick walk round the village first. An outside sofa - not quite the same if seen in the uk...
Some art work
And a bougainvillea archway...
Breakfast with a view. Non stop tea in lovely shaped little glass mugs...
And a Cypriot breakfast ... there were other dishes with savoury pastries, breads, a tomato dish...
The new summer dining area
The new loo with a view
Down the mountain is a new vineyard but they are not making their own wines yet and they are importing from Israel...
We didn't try as more interested in the locally produced stuff and not sure about the politics of the owner yet which will definitely affect the taste of the wine...
A brief stop off at the post orifice to collect post- everyone has a box here not a letterbox at home...
Woody's to do list...
We went out for a walk around Karaoglanoglu and saw almost wild squash plants growing...
Pomegranates...
A new public beach has been opened...
The view up the road we walked back up
Where's Woody?
And a lovely moussaka dinner followed by visiting friends...charlie
And Splodgie
Good night all xxx
