Footprints in the sand

Superwoman - woody's sister all dressed up and no place to go

We often walk along the cliff path. More recently they have set up scale models and information about the solar system

Looking at the sea round towards Voelklip (I think)

IMG_5516.JPG
I see no ships

IMG_5523.JPG
A different walk on Grotto beach found jelly fish brought in by the tide. Trifle anyone?

IMG_5524.JPG
Waves upon waves rolling in ...

Our shadows and bird prints

Footsteps in the sand
For those that know the poem here is the true ending:

For those that don't there is Google.

Crash landed aliens that have dragged themselves up onto the beach but yet unable to survive in our atmosphere

The lagoon remains closed despite our predictions on our last visit. The sand level is so low that the tide must be over it by now due to this storm. Gordons Bay is flooded and we heard today a roof of a shopping mall was blown off but Hermanus is relatively unscathed so far

The lagoon water is so clear

IMG_5540.JPG
Then eat pie

IMG_5543.JPG
"Amazing pie" on the stoep - it's true the label in the previous photo says so....

IMG_5545.JPG
Another cliff path walk found daring dassies

IMG_5547.JPG
To give a better idea - it scrambles up the side of the plant and balanced on the top for a nibble

IMG_5549.JPG
We saw about 8 of them in this area

IMG_5551.JPG
Maybe dolphins

IMG_5552.JPG
Sounds of frogs but we haven't seen the little things yet

IMG_5554.JPG
And still we see no ships

More anon
Love to all xxx
