Walkies

We have been on several walks to try and justify the amount of food we have been eating

We have friends who live in Fernkloof and Tokkie kindly took us for a short walk (limited by ancient and/or unsuitable footwear) and Willow was allowed along for the ride. Doris sacrificed herself and stayed in to cool the white wine, let the red wine breathe and heat up some lovely snacks for us

We revisited the Harold Nixon Porter gardens and Woody and I took a longer walk and scramble to Leopardskloof starting on the humpback bridge fol de rol

We went up the Leopards Kloof Trail and back before going along the yellow cut through's and onto the Fynbos trail. Fynbos is a collection of plants that live only in certain conditions. They rejuvenate after fire but wildfires are extremely dangerous.

The gate. Not sure whether it is supposed to keep things in or out but a deposit at the reception ensured we had a key
