We got a ticket to ride...

A friend of Woody's kindly invited us to join him and another friend on a rail trip: London to Carlisle and return in one day and pulled by steam.
For us the trip started with a night at a travelodge to cut the journey short for the early start the next day.

We were joined at Rugby by Janet and we had breakfast starting with pastries followed by a full English
